Day 1:Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on your Rwanda Golden Monkey Safari as you head North of Kigali to Kinigi at the foot of Volcanoes National Park as you enjoy spectacular views  and the amazing scenery of the Virunga Mountains en route as you head out to Ruhengeri. Check into the lodge and rendezvous at the lodge as you prepare for next day of viewing the attractive Golden monkey in their natural setting and later enjoy dinner surrounded by the evergreen tropical forest.

Day 2: Golden Monkey Jungle Trekking

After an early breakfast, embark on the Rwanda Golden Monkey Safari as you head out to the park headquarters for golden monkey tracking as you enjoy the beauty of these fragile creatures that illuminate the park with their lovely golden fur. The monkeys can easily be encountered as they live at the bottom of the Volcano Mountains with in the bamboo forest, and by following the traces of fresh leftovers from the bamboo shoots eaten, the trackers are then able to locate them with in less than an hour. These monkeys spend most of their time at the top of the bamboo and also climb trees,they are very delightful for photography.

Later visit the grave site of the famous primatologist Dian Fossey, a brave lady who protected and saved a lot of these gentle creatures from inhuman savages. Later retire at the lodge for an overnight as you reflect on the day’s encounters to your amusement.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali

Early in the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Kigali where you embark on a city including the National Museum and Genocide memorial center that tales of the happenings of the massive deaths in April 1994. Later  connect for your flight back home.
