Day 1: Drive from Entebbe / Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After you have had your breakfast very early in the morning, you will leave Kampala/Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Masaka-Mbarara city-Kabale route.
Your drive for 3 days gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi takes about 8-9 hours but it lets you enjoy incredible beauty of the countryside rolling hills, stopover at Equator for photography and lunch stop at Mbarara City center.
After lunch continue on your drive to Bwindi National Park to check in at your gorilla safari lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Day and Batwa Cultural experience
You will wake up early in the morning and you will be served breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to anyone of the 4 main sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing from the park guides / rangers about gorilla trekking rules.
You and other visitors are expected at the park offices at 7:00am for briefing and to be assigned to a gorilla group. At 8:00am, you will take a hike through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to look for gorilla group family assigned to you.
The whole gorilla trek experience takes about 2 to 6 hours which also include one hour of photo taking and exploring the general behaviors of mountain gorillas.
Retreat from long day gorilla trekking and the magical encounter with these gentle rare apes. Relax a bit at the lodge, then you will have late afternoon to interact with the Batwa in the Batwa cultural experience in the Batwa community.

Day 3: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
Following your breakfast you will check out of your accommodation and then drive back to morning cup of tea or coffee, check out of your gorilla safari lodge and after, drive back to Kampala/Entebbe with a stop over in Mbarara for lunch.
