Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
1 night at Hotel Lake Victoria, Entebbe
You will be met at arrival at Entebbe International Airport by your driver/guide and driven to your hotel. The afternoon will be at leisure. You can take a walk to the botanical gardens or visit the Uganda Wildlife Education center both of which are a walk able distance from your Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
2 nights at Mweya Safari lodge
After breakfast drive westwards passing through Mbarara the home of the long-horned Ankole cows. These cows have horns as long as 7 inches. Lunch at Mbarara then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the Western branch of Africa’s Rift Valley. (Weather permitting, there are spectacular views of the nearby snowcapped 16,000-foot Rwenzori mountains.) The park is spread along the eastern shores of Lake Edward and encompasses Lake George. The park supports teeming herds of the impala-like Uganda kob as well as topi, elephant and lion. There are also several soda lakes filling ancient volcanic calderas where flamingos reside seasonally. Game drive on the way to your accommodation.
In the afternoon you will take a launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Albert to the smaller Lake George. This game rich stretch is filled with pods of hippos and elephant, Cape buffalo are often encountered along the shore. The channel is also a breeding ground for stunning birds.

Day 3: Morning game drive and Maramagambo Forest Monkeys
Early morning game drive, lunch at the lodge and then drive to the Maramagambo forest in search of variety of monkeys including the white and black colobus, black faced red colobus, red tailed monkeys and olive baboons. You will also visit the bat caves and search for the amazing rock-python, puff adders, spitting cobras, Gabo Rippers, green mambas, turtles. .

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge
After breakfast, game drive to the Kyambura gorge for a chimpanzee hike with a packed lunch. Continue through the lush hills to Ishasha area of the park for a search of the famous tree-climbing lions.
Spend the whole afternoon in this area of the park game viewing and then return to your accommodation at dusk for the overnight at Mweya Lodge.

Day 5: Game drive in Kasenyi Area and transfer Back to Entebbe
This morning you drive you will drive to the Kasenyi area of the park for the last game drive in search of the game that could have eluded you.
Travel back passing through Mbarara, where you will have lunch, stop over at the equator and the at Mpigi royal drum makers, Kampala shopping and then transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight out. Your flight should be late in the afternoon or in the evening otherwise, another night can be arranged for you in Entebbe.
